Adult ministries of Live Oak Baptist Church consist of Sunday School classes, WMU (Women's Missionary Union), Brotherhood (Men's ministry), and being involved in various mission activities such as Under the Shadow of the Steeple, visitation, and committee designations.
There are two couples classes. One is under the direction of Hal Goodwin who teaches through the Bible following the Lifeway Sunday School literature. The other class is under the direction of Rod Hodge. Rod teaches practical Christian living, covering all areas of the Christian's personal, social and church life.
The ladies ministry is under the leadership of Theresa McIntyre and Lynn Gordon. Their goal is to get the ladies of the church involved in missions and in the everyday life of the church. The Men's ministry is under the direction of Billy Powell. Their goal is to take care of the physical aspects of the church's facility and to meet the needs of the men in our community.
